North Andover Boutique Wine Shop

Nestled in the heart of North Andover Center, Zana Architecture’s latest project brings new life to a 1,000-square-foot tenant space on the ground floor of a historic commercial building. The renovated space now supports two distinct yet complementary functions: a welcoming retail storefront and an intimate wine tasting experience tucked toward the back.

At the core of the design is custom millwork that showcases the shop’s extensive wine collection in a way that’s both functional and elegant. From display shelving to storage solutions, every detail was considered to enhance the customer experience while reinforcing the shop’s identity.

One of the most delightful transformations is the entry vestibule. Once an overlooked pass-through, the space was reimagined to feel like the entry to a quaint French storefront — warm, inviting, and full of charm. This thoughtful redesign sets the tone for the experience inside.

A new lighting package creates ambiance while improving overall functionality, and the use of warm wood tones throughout—including walls clad in repurposed wine cases — adds rich texture and character. Many of the reclaimed and repurposed elements, including the green-painted island millwork behind shop owner Audra, were brought to life in collaboration with Green Park Studios.

The result is a space that feels timeless yet personal — crafted for both community and conversation.
